My local connection includes growing up in Portsmouth in the house my great-grandparents built. I spent most of my career in computing support at the University of New Hampshire. I was also adjunct in that Geography Department, regularly teaching cartography. In retirement, my wife of 56 years and I, settled in New Castle where my in-laws lived. I now have the time to indulge my enthusiasms for local history and for digital photography, in the town of unlimited photo-ops. One of my character defects is collecting slide rules and I confess that I’m a book-o-holic. This drawing shows what I think I look like! |
